Singapore Completes Acquisition of 38 Oxley Road, Historic Home of Founding PM Lee Kuan Yew
Singapore's Government has formally completed its acquisition of 38 Oxley Road, the historic pre-war bungalow where founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew lived and where key discussions among Singapore's founding leaders occurred. The site, gazetted as a national monument, will be developed into a public heritage space.
