Mexican Gang Leader Arrested in Assassination of Anti-Crime Mayor
Mexico's Security Minister announced the arrest of Ramon Angel, alias 'El R1,' accused of masterminding the November 2025 assassination of Uruapan Mayor Carlos Manzo. The suspected gang leader is a high-ranking enforcer within the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.
