Dewan Negara Approves Social Work Profession Bill, Creating Multi-Sector Regulatory Council
Malaysia's upper house has passed the Social Work Profession Bill 2026, creating a regulatory council comprising government, private sector, NGOs and academia to set standards for social workers nationwide.
