Thailand plans domestic tourism subsidy and foreign visitor levy to boost economy and fund infrastructure
Thailand is introducing a 1.75-billion-baht domestic tourism subsidy programme in September while proposing a new fee on foreign visitors to finance infrastructure development, visitor protection, and environmental remediation across the kingdom.
