Government and Police Ordered to Compensate Activists RM195,000 Over Wrongful Covid Memorial Arrests
A Malaysian court has ruled that the government and police must pay RM195,000 in compensation to 13 activists who were wrongfully arrested during a candlelight vigil honouring Covid-19 victims at Dataran Merdeka in August 2021.
