The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) has apprehended two women in connection with alleged immoral activities during separate operations conducted on Sunday, June 14, in the Brunei-Muara District. Officers from the Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department carried out raids targeting suspected vice-related operations in two residential areas.
The first operation saw a 39-year-old local woman taken into custody at a rented premises in Kampong Salambigar. Investigators suspected her of engaging in immoral activities at the location.
A second raid in Kampong Lumapas resulted in the arrest of a 29-year-old woman, who was suspected of both participating in and facilitating similar unlawful activities. Evidence and items collected from both locations were secured as part of the investigation.
Both suspects were transferred to the Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit office for further questioning and processing. The RBPF reiterated its determination to stamp out vice offences and maintain standards of public morality and community safety across the nation.
