Yeo Tung Siong is contesting the Pekan Nanas state seat as a Pakatan Harapan candidate in the 16th Johor State Election (PRN Johor Ke-16), with polling set for July 11, 2026.

Yeo Tung Siong stands as the the Democratic Action Party (DAP) candidate within the Pakatan Harapan coalition, which is chaired by Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The coalition brings together PKR, DAP and Amanah in a unified slate fielded across all 56 Johor state constituencies.

The Pekan Nanas constituency forms part of the broader battleground that will decide control of the Johor State Legislative Assembly. Pakatan Harapan is contesting all 56 state seats in a direct challenge across both urban and rural Johor.

Representing the Democratic Action Party, Yeo Tung Siong carries DAP's message of multiracial, transparent and development-focused governance into the Pekan Nanas contest. DAP is fielding candidates in 17 of Pakatan Harapan's 56 Johor seats.

Pakatan Harapan's selection process for the Johor election was rigorous, with the coalition evaluating more than 1,000 potential candidates before finalising its 56 names. The slate blends established leaders, professionals and fresh faces, reflecting the coalition's bid to present a credible, governing-ready team to Johor voters.

Nomination Day falls on June 27, 2026, with early voting on July 7 and polling day on July 11. Voters in Pekan Nanas will have their say as Pakatan Harapan seeks to extend its mandate across Johor.
