Malaysia to Explore Hybrid Tax Model Blending GST and SST Elements, PM Says
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced Malaysia will study a proposal merging certain elements of GST and SST to create a more progressive tax structure, while maintaining SST as the primary system and rejecting broad-based taxation.
