Japan's antitrust regulator cracks down on ice cream makers over suspected price-fixing scheme
Japan's Fair Trade Commission has raided six of the country's largest ice cream makers on suspicion of coordinating price increases. Officials believe company representatives used emails and meetings to synchronise timing of retail hikes since around 2022.
