Cabinet Approves Landmark Reforms to Make Road Offenders Pay Compensation to Accident Victims
Malaysia's Cabinet has approved in-principle amendments to the Road Transport Act 1987 that would allow courts to order road offenders to pay compensation to accident victims or their families as additional punishment alongside existing penalties.
