Moderate Tremor Strikes Off Johor Coast; No Tsunami Risk to Malaysia
A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck waters off Batu Pahat, Johor on August 25 at 4.12 pm, with its epicentre located approximately 18 km southwest of the town. The Malaysian Meteorological Department has ruled out any tsunami risk to Malaysia.
