Grenade Safety Lever Released Prematurely in Kem Hobart Tragedy, Defence Ministry Inquiry Concludes
A Board of Inquiry into the June 16 grenade explosion at Kem Hobart in Kedah has determined that the weapon's safety lever released prematurely during a training exercise, detonating near both personnel involved. The Defence Ministry has pledged enhanced safety protocols.
