Thailand and New Zealand have formalised a strategic partnership, targeting to triple bilateral trade to US$7.5 billion by 2045. Thai Airways plans to resume direct Bangkok-Auckland flights in March 2027, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
