Chinese villager loses nose saving woman from attacker, awarded national hero status
A 69-year-old former village official in Hunan province, China, was recognized as a national hero after losing part of his nose while subduing an attacker threatening a woman in April. Zeng Fanlin has undergone reconstructive surgery.
