Typhoon Maysak Batters Hainan, Shutting Down Transport Networks Across South China
Typhoon Maysak, the year's 10th tropical cyclone, struck Hainan Province on Friday evening with winds of 23 metres per second, forcing widespread shutdowns of air, rail and sea transport across southern China.
